Culinary Pop-up: Chilean Pears at the Slivovitz Museum
While winter still lingers in the Czech Republic, pear season is reaching its peak in Chile. In our Chilean orchards, the harvest is currently coming to an end and we are purchasing fresh local pears at their very best. Now, we are bringing the warmth of the sun, the aroma of ripe fruit and the energy of distant orchards directly to the Slivovitz Museum.
As part of this year’s gastronomic calendar, we are introducing the first monthly culinary pop-up at the Slivovitz Museum – this time dedicated to pears and pear-inspired flavours.
Special Pear Menu
During this limited-time gastronomic event at the Slivovitz Museum, you can enjoy a seasonal menu that combines traditional Czech cuisine with the delicate sweetness of pears:
-
Slice of artisanal bread with liver pâté and pear chutney
-
Traditional potato dumplings with smoked pork meat and pear sauerkraut
-
Pear baked in Williams pear brandy, served with honey and walnuts
Pears at the Bar and in the Shop
At the bar, we will warm you up with a fragrant pear punch, perfect for colder days.
In the museum shop, you can also purchase Williams Pear Brandy 0.7 l at a special promotional price.
Come and enjoy a touch of Chilean summer, the scent of orchards and the honest taste of pears in several forms at the Slivovitz Museum. This pear-themed culinary pop-up is the perfect opportunity to combine a unique gastronomic experience with a visit to our exhibition.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Slivovitz Museum.
